Special Credit with Qualifying Course for Languages

Students requesting special credits in World Languages must complete one qualifying course from IU South Bend in the language with a grade of C or better.

For example, students who have completed a 300-level Spanish course can request credits for S101, S102, S203, and S204. Students who have completed French F204 can request F101, F102, and F203.

Special credits are applied with a grade of (S). Special credits carry no weight to your GPA.
There are no additional fees for special credits.
